Digital Thailand Big Bang 2018 organized to support big data. To absolutely transform our country to be DIGITAL THAILAND, we shall continue building wider awareness, providing deeper knowledge and creating a better understanding amongst all Thais.
Each day, 2.5 quintillion bytes of new and different types of data are being created and 85% of which are no longer the structured form of information. In Thailand, we all play a part in this digital world of BIG DATA, through the internet network provided throughout the country under the “Net Pracharat” Project. The high volume of data has been growing with velocity, variety and veracity.
These scattering sets of data may seem like a game that is not worth a candle and, yet, can turn into a golden treasure once being perceived, understood, analysed and synthesised, leading to unbounded “Opportunities” and “Possibilities” of future innovations.
Digital Thailand Big Bang 2018 therefore stems from the idea of “Thailand BIG DATA – when the world is open, we evolve and progress” Inside this international digital innovation exhibition, participants will be excited by different fields of advanced technologies and the new understanding of how BIG DATA can be integrated and used to improve upon their everyday life as well as to enhance the ultimate growth of their businesses, big and small. BIG DATA will then be the new drive of our country, whether it is macroeconomics, education, infrastructure, and business sectors such as, finances, logistics, agriculture, food, tourism, energy and aviation.
While BUILK One Group, a Thai startup, has been operating since 2009. It is the first startup in Asia that provides the construction business management software for free with the determination of helping the Thai construction industry turn into the digital world with BIG DATA. Currently, BUILK.COM has served over 25,000 small and medium-sized contractors in five countries including Thailand, Indonesia, Laos, Myanmar and Cambodia.
